5 Star Contractor Rating Award
INFOTANZA 07 October 27,2007 Kennesaw, Georgia. The trophy was unveiled. It named Peter Stopen of Pondview Landscaping, Brick, New Jersey as the winner of the first ever IPPCA 5 Star Contractor Rating Award, sponsored this year by Horizon Distributors, Inc. The $1,000.00 check was presented by Eastern Regional Horizon Distributors, Inc. representative Darien Bryant. A big thank you to Horizon Distributors, Inc. for contributing to this year’s award and its presentation, and big Congratulations to Peter Stopen, who earned this trophy and check by utilizing the IPPCA Contractor Rating Form system to monitor his company’s performance in the field and having the highest total score of all IPPCA Professional Contractor Members for the year 2006. Peter proved he’s truly as the trophy states, the Best of the Best for 2006
Editor’s note: Peter Stopen is not only this year’s recipient of the 5 Star contractor Rating award, with the trophy and $1000.00 check that accompanies it, he also has received recognition as an IPPCA Top Gun contractor for 2006 when he attended the IPPCA first Ponditat For Humanity. Peter is also one of the growing number of contractors to take the time and effort to achieve IPPCA, CPPC (Certified Professional Pond Contractor) status and to take advantage of all the additional benefits this offers. 12/2006 Ocean County Landscaper Receives Professional Pond Contractor Certification

Recently, Pondview Landscaping president Peter Stopen received his designation as a Certified Professional Pond Contractor (CPPC) by the International Professional Pond Contractors Association (IPPCA). However, attaining this CPPC certification was not simple. Stopen not only had to be a member in good standing, but he also had to provide a portfolio of completed projects with customer verification of proper installment, service, and maintenance. In addition, he had to complete a test on pond ecosystems environment and equipment knowledge.
